Project overview

Gemeente Ooststellingwerf is the local administrative and service organization for citizens, entrepreneurs, and partners in the local community. In this role, Gemeente Ooststellingwerf connects practical service delivery with spatial, social, and economic development.

The work package of Gemeente Ooststellingwerf ranges from citizen affairs, service delivery, and supervision of local regulations to programs concerning spatial development, traffic and energy issues, and social support, youth policy, and participation. To carry out these diverse tasks carefully, Gemeente Ooststellingwerf brings together subject-matter expert teams with roles for legal support, business operations, communication, and digital service delivery.

Within Gemeente Ooststellingwerf, the college sets the frameworks and controls the municipal council.

• You will draw up a future-oriented plan for social infrastructure. This plan will form the basis for joint planning with municipalities, employers, educational institutions, social development companies, and other relevant partners.
• You will develop multiple realistic scenarios for future-proof social infrastructure.
• For each scenario, you will describe the consequences and effects for governance, collaboration, service delivery, organization, finances, and implementation, as well as the risks, opportunities, and preconditions.
• You will analyze the current social and labor market infrastructure.
• You will identify societal developments, labor market issues, and national policy developments.
• You will identify opportunities, bottlenecks, and future-proof solution directions.
• You will translate national developments into the Frisian and local context.
• You will draw up a decision-making framework for administrators.
• You will draw up a clear and administratively usable final recommendation.
• You will present your findings to the management, executive board, and the alderman responsible for the portfolio.
• You will advise on follow-up steps and implementation.
• You will attach a CV of a maximum of 5 A4 pages
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
• HBO / WO educated
• HBO/WO
• Demonstrable relevant work experience in the mentioned field of work
