In this role, you will be the point of contact for all structural matters concerning our electricity and gas stations. As a structural engineer in Zwolle, you will ensure that our stations are in top condition and that the correct structural solutions are applied during renovations. This way, you keep our stations safe and reliable and contribute directly to the energy transition.

This is how you will take on this challenge

Ensuring the good condition and thus the safety of our stations: that's what you'll work for. Important, as they supply millions of people with electricity and gas. Approximately 60% of your time will be spent on-site conducting inspections, re-inspections, and audits. Additionally, you will advise engineers on technical solutions for station renovations. Thanks to you, they will know exactly which wall can be removed and whether a concrete floor is strong enough for the reinforcement of a station. You will also supervise contractors and monitor the quality of their work.

Your colleagues from the Realisatie department in Overijssel West. You will form a team with other structural engineers and technical specialists. Although you are often on the road independently, you will coordinate many matters with your team, for example, during the monthly meeting. We ensure a varied range of tasks, so your work remains interesting and you can continue to develop.

• Inspecting buildings and greenery. Does the facade need to be replaced? Is the station entrance blocked by vegetation?
• Assigning maintenance work to our regular contractors and managing the maintenance process.
• Performing quality checks. Is the work executed as you envisioned? Then you ensure the contractor is paid and all documentation is up-to-date.
• Handling emergency notifications, such as a technician unable to enter the station due to a broken lock or a customer with a question about station renovations.
• If you grow into a senior structural engineer in the future, you will participate in national meetings on behalf of Enexis.
• MBO level 4 in structural engineering.
• Preferably experience with asbestos inventories and remediation and an WVA certificate. If you don't have this yet, you will obtain the diploma at our expense.
• A VOL-VCA certificate and BEI and VIAG instructions, such as BEI-BHS THP, BEI-BLS THP, and VIAG-THP, or the willingness to obtain them through us.
• A good command of the Dutch language, so you can issue clear maintenance orders both verbally and in writing.
