System Administrator - Level 3

To our client, the Swedish Police Authority, we are looking for a consultant for the assignment below:

Assignment Description:

For the Swedish Police Authority, we are looking for a System Administrator who will be part of the Camera & Establishment group and work with technical project planning, new establishment, deployment, and management of the authority's existing and future camera surveillance systems. The assignment covers the authority's facilities across the country.

Responsibilities

The authority is looking for an experienced and self-driven technical specialist with broad competence in CCTV, camera technology, and network infrastructure. The consultant needs to have a good ability to combine practical technical work with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical coordination.

The role involves many points of contact and requires a structured approach, good communication skills, and the ability to independently drive technical issues from identified need to a finished and functioning solution.

• Provide technical support and user support to end-users and field technicians via the authority's case management system.
• Perform qualified troubleshooting of camera surveillance systems, network communication, and associated hardware.
• Configuration of camera hardware.
• Configuration of Network Equipment (VPN tunnels etc.).
• Coordinate and follow up on establishment work in dialogue with external suppliers, contractors, and field technicians.

Start Date: December 28, 2026, or as soon as possible after approved background check

End Date: December 28, 2027

Option for extension: December 28, 2028 The Swedish Police Authority may utilize all or part of the option period.

Security Process:

The Swedish Police Authority places high demands on the consultant's security and confidentiality awareness. A security assessment with a background check and the signing of a security protection agreement according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may be carried out by the consultant and the consultant's employer before the Assignment Agreement can take effect. The security assessment is paid for by the subcontractor. In some cases, Swedish citizenship is required.

Financial Control:

To ensure stability, the supplier must submit a financial background check via UC showing the company's risk class. If a subcontractor (UL) is hired, a separate check must also be attached for them. All certificates submitted for verification must not be older than three months from the last application day.

Bid Evaluation: (Ework makes the selection)

Ework will make an initial selection and present bids to the client for final evaluation.

Interview:

The consultant/supplier may be called for an interview if necessary to verify qualification requirements.

Contractual Terms:

The terms for the assignment will be based on Ework's framework agreement with the client. Please refer to the terms in the attachment "Swedish Police Authority's Supplier Agreement", see "Documents/Links".

• The consultant must have completed the electrical program at high school level.
• The consultant must have at least one certification in Video Management System (VMS).
• The consultant must have at least 6 years of documented experience working with CCTV. The experience must have been acquired during the last 8 years.
• The consultant must have documented experience in project planning, deployment, and technical management of digital camera surveillance systems.
• The consultant must have relevant and valid authorization or certification as a CCTV engineer according to SBSC's requirements.
• The consultant must have good knowledge of ANPR/LPR.
• The consultant must have completed training for operating lifts, fall protection, and working on roads.
• The consultant must have experience in project planning and project management of digital camera installations during the last five years.
• The consultant must have a good ability to express themselves verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
• The consultant must have good knowledge of networks.
• Experience with alarm and security systems and relevant alarm training.
• The consultant should have experience working within security-classified operations.
• The consultant should have experience working within the judicial system.
• The consultant should have experience working within the public sector.
