Assignment description

System Architect BI-Reporting

We are looking for a System Architect for the 'Agile Release Train' in the BI-Reporting chain. The BI-Reporting chain focuses on realizing and developing data-driven solutions that play a crucial role in the energy transition. The solutions within this chain are innovative and based on advanced technologies, with which we actively shape the future of energy. These solutions are essential to keep the impact of the energy transition on the network operator affordable and manageable.

The BI-Reporting chain consists of over 60 colleagues spread across 7 Agile teams, including Data Engineers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters. Together, we work in three-weekly sprints on the needs of our users and maintaining the stability of the ICT foundation.

We believe it's important that you feel at home with us. We are all different, and the beauty of that is that we complement each other from these differences. We need each other's perspectives and opinions for a successful energy transition! Read more about our diversity and inclusion policy here.

These are your responsibilities

Actively coaching and sparring on architecture for other roles within the value chain.

Maintaining contact and coordination moments with other chains and teams (e.g., Integration, Data Platform, and System Architects from other value chains).

Providing standards, architectural frameworks, and guidelines to the agile teams in the value chain, enabling them to work independently.

Regular coordination with Enterprise Architects and your counterparts in the organization.

(Assisting with) the creation of detailed architectures for the solutions that the teams in the chain realize.

Designing, developing, and monitoring the chain architecture and the architecture roadmap, clearly communicating your vision.

In addition to technical knowledge, we are looking for an entrepreneurial connector who can work independently and bring new initiatives and solutions. You know how to create support and establish the conditions for teams to excel. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, follows through, and is driven. You can involve your colleagues and team in this and bring a positive flow. You are organizationally sensitive and aware of your surroundings, and you have persuasive power in a dynamic environment.

You demonstrate entrepreneurial and flexible behavior and have a pragmatic, yet positively critical attitude.

You can independently find your way in using tools and resources within and outside the organization to strengthen yourself in this role. You are results-oriented, decisive, and independent.
