For a major player in life insurance, we are looking for an API Tech Lead to manage the API layer of a strategic savings transformation program.

• Technically lead a team of Business Analysts and developers
• Define and enforce API guidelines: naming, errors, pagination, security, versioning
• Formalize OpenAPI contracts using a contract-first approach
• Manage APIs as products: versioning, deprecation, SLA/SLO, catalog on the API management platform
• Lead the integration of vendor software APIs and monitor fixes and evolutions with the vendor
• Frame new projects with architects
• Occasionally code in Java Spring and perform code reviews
