Tech Lead Backend Java

Project overview

As part of an information system modernization program, you will contribute to the redesign of backend services associated with professional mobile applications used in a distribution network. As a Tech Lead Backend Java, you will be a technical reference, an experienced developer, and a mentor for an existing team.

You will analyze the existing system, participate in scoping, and define the architecture of new services based notably on Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases. You will take part in the creation of services and batch processing, the migration of application exchanges, and the gradual retirement of historical components.

On a daily basis, you will initiate projects and their development practices, create reference components, mentor developers, and contribute to code reviews. You will also participate in the testing strategy, documentation, deliveries, and anomaly analysis, ensuring performance, robustness, and maintainability.

Desired Profile

Proven experience in backend Java design and development, with a very good command of Spring and Spring Boot.

Practice of REST APIs, Java batch processing, JPA/Hibernate, and relational databases.

Experience in modernizing existing applications, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Technical leadership experience: mentoring developers, code reviews, and pedagogical communication.

Practice of Agile and SAFe; Kotlin, API Management, OpenShift, and AI development tools are appreciated.
