• Be responsible for the application architecture of both platforms and their convergence: same patterns, same conventions, same quality guarantees, without denying what pertains to the specific idioms of each ecosystem.
• Drive structuring decisions on the iOS side and their equivalents on the Android side.
• Keep applications aligned with Apple and Google's annual evolutions (new OS versions, deprecations, publication requirements) and anticipate their impacts rather than being subjected to them.
• Be responsible for the actually perceived experience.
• Mobile BFF and integration into the information system
• Design, develop, and maintain the mobile BFF in our technical environment (.NET and C# on Azure), with the same level of requirement as the application code.
• Be responsible for the technical-functional boundary of the BFF: aggregation, adaptation, and optimization for mobile use, without absorbing business logic that belongs to the domains.
• Be responsible for the backward compatibility of contracts, in a context where several versions of the application coexist durably on our clients' devices.
• Define with the domain teams the API contracts that the applications need, champion the mobile need upstream of their decisions, and contribute to the convergence of the park towards business-oriented APIs.
• Delivery and collective development
• Secure publication predictability: controlled cadence on the App Store and Play Store, ability to deploy and disable a feature without depending on a validation cycle (feature flags, progressive rollouts).
• Be responsible for the build chain and coordination of tests for both applications and the BFF, and for end-to-end observability (crash reporting, correlated traces from the device to upstream APIs) allowing incident diagnosis.
• Support iOS and Android engineers in their skill development (demanding code reviews, pair programming, practice sharing) and disseminate the company's mobile standards.
• Translate platform constraints into understandable trade-offs for Product, Design, and Marketing teams, and inform their prioritization decisions.
• Significant experience in iOS development in Swift on production consumer applications, including SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency.
• Real mastery of the native Android ecosystem in Kotlin, sufficient to arbitrate architecture and challenge team choices.
• Ability to develop server-side in .NET and C#, and to design services exposed in an Azure cloud environment.
• Practice in designing APIs consumed by mobile clients: granularity, pagination, error management, versioning, and backward compatibility.
• Experience with transactional flows: strong authentication, push notifications, media/document capture and sending, degraded mode.
• Proven practice of mobile tooling: build automation, signing and provisioning, automated testing, distribution, and publication on both stores.
