Profile sought

We wish to integrate profiles with initial IT training (DUT, Master, Engineering school) with significant experience in Java/JEE, both frontend and backend. Previous successful experiences as a tech lead in a similar context are required.

Candidates must have already operated on substantial application portfolios and participated in large-scale transformations (modernization, cloud, redesign, or migration). Candidates must demonstrate a strong DevOps and infrastructure culture, covering topics such as sizing, observability, performance, resilience, operability, and security.

With excellent interpersonal skills, candidates must be pragmatic and capable of leading or driving transformation initiatives. Proactivity and a service-oriented mindset are necessary for successful performance in this role.

As the team is spread between France and India, proficiency in English is a prerequisite.

Work environment

Within an agile Scrum organization. Teams consist of 14 to 15 collaborators (developers and Business Analysts) and are distributed between France and India, requiring fluent English on a daily basis. The Tech Lead works on an application portfolio aligned with a business value chain, accounting on one side and taxation on the other.

• Agile Scrum organization; team of 14 DEV & BA collaborators; application scope consisting of about ten applications aligned with the accounting value chain (accounting audit trail, regulatory declarations, etc.) including 3 commercial software packages (Docker K8S for 1, VM for the other two)
• Adaptation and migration of the application portfolio to the public Azure cloud (30% of time)
• Application redesign of the application portfolio towards a top-stack architecture (30%)
• Maintenance in operational condition of the existing application portfolio (20%) & production support (20%)
• Agile Scrum organization; team of 15 DEV & BA collaborators; application scope consisting of 6 applications aligned with the taxation value chain
• TAX Platform project: complete redesign from scratch of all taxation applications starting from the requirements. High-visibility, multi-year (2026, 2030) and strategic project for the group (70% of time)
• REST microservices
• Message-driven architecture

• Adaptation and migration of the application portfolio to the public Azure cloud (10%)
• Maintenance in operational condition of the existing application portfolio & production support (20%)
• Promote craftsmanship practices among team members
• Frame technical topics and implement a pragmatic software architecture considering architectural standards and context
• Lead CRAFT workshops, ensure code reviews
• Lead lessons learned sessions following the adoption of new digital capabilities within the DEV Chapter
• Current stack: Java 25, Angular 22, SpringBoot 4, PostgreSQL, REST API, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, IaaS, Git, Maven, RabbitMQ, ELK, Ansible, Terraform
