Project overview
*Technical transformation-focused consulting Architect.* to operate across discovery, problem definition and solution design contract for 12 months
London hybrid, 2 days onsite
Rate £750 pd Umbrella
Essential:
End-to-end digital transformation delivery experience. Experience working through full programme life cycles, not just architecture design.
Strong stakeholder engagement and consultancy-style skills. Comfortable entering unfamiliar environments, identifying technical challenges and shaping solutions.
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams (Service Design, Product, User Research, Delivery, Engineering).
Broad technology exposure rather than deep expertise in a single platform.
Ability to work closely with senior government stakeholders.
Hands-on involvement rather than governance-only architecture.
Central Government, ALB or wider public sector experience.
Customer service or operational transformation programmes with a digital focus.
Experience in start-up, scale-up or innovation environments.A large part of the role involves engaging with stakeholders, understanding operational challenges, working alongside multidisciplinary teams and helping organisations improve the way they deliver citizen-facing services.
Must have delivered end-to-end digital transformation programmes, be comfortable working in ambiguous environments and have experience collaborating with service designers, product managers, delivery managers, user researchers, architects and engineers.
ROLE
Leading discovery and technical assessment activities across government departments.
Understanding existing technology landscapes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Shaping technical and service transformation strategies.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout the delivery life cycle.
Experience as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, Lead Engineer or Transformation Consultant.
Proven delivery of end-to-end digital transformation programmes.
Experience working throughout the full programme life cycle from discovery through to implementation.
Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting skills.
Experience assessing complex technical environments and defining future-state solutions.
Working within multidisciplinary teams including Product, Service Design, Engineering and Delivery.
Government and service transformation experience.
Customer service or operational transformation programmes. Consultancy background.
Start-up or scale-up experience.
MUST be hands-on, people-focused technology leader with broad technical knowledge
