Our client in the Aerospace and Defense sector is looking for a Technical Leader Middleware / Data Integration (m/f) on a freelance basis.

Mission Description:

As part of its digital transformation, our client in the aeronautics sector is looking for its future freelance Technical Leader Middleware / Data Integration.

The mission is part of a context of modernizing data exchanges and progressively replacing a legacy solution with standard Group middleware and ETL technologies, notably MuleSoft, Talend, and Kafka.

As a Technical Leader Middleware, you will be involved in the design, implementation, and operational maintenance of the data integration platform. You will also support a team of middleware developers and collaborate with application, business, and technical teams in an international environment.

Your main responsibilities

You will be required to:

You have proven experience in designing and developing data exchange and system integration solutions.

You master several of the following technologies and skills:

A certification in an ETL solution, middleware technology, or Cloud environment would be appreciated.

Experience in technical leadership and managing a small team, both technically and managerially, is a real asset. Knowledge of a legacy solution like TradeXpress, as well as SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments and specifications, would also be appreciated.

• Participate in the design of robust, scalable, and high-performance middleware architectures.
• Define solutions for extracting, transforming, and loading data between different components of the information system.
• Design and implement data exchange flows in compliance with the Group's architecture, security, and development standards.
• Lead the implementation of solutions and organize task distribution within the middleware development team.
• Provide technical support to developers and contribute to the development of their skills.
• Ensure support and operational maintenance of deployed middleware solutions, in compliance with defined service levels.
• Collaborate with application and business domain teams to understand their needs and structure data exchanges.
• Contribute to the replacement of the legacy solution with standard solutions based notably on MuleSoft, Talend, and Kafka.
• Ensure the security, compliance, and resilience of data flows and technical environments.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose incidents, and implement necessary optimization actions.
• Participate in expert communities and contribute to defining technical best practices.
• Stay informed about technologies related to data integration, middleware, Cloud, and modern architectures.
• Propose areas for improvement in a continuous improvement approach.
• ETL and middleware solutions, notably MuleSoft, Talend, and Kafka.
• AWS Cloud environments and associated services, such as AWS Glue.
• SQL language and data modeling.
• Python, with an operational level.
• Design of integration architectures and data flows.
• Security, monitoring, and optimization of inter-application exchanges.
