Technical Repairs Officer – 3-6 Months

The Technical Repairs Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating day-to-day repairs and maintenance across the Housing Association’s properties, ensuring that homes are maintained to a safe, compliant and high standard.

Responsibilities

• Managing reactive repairs, prioritising emergency, urgent and routine works.
• Inspecting properties, identifying repair requirements and specifying appropriate remedial works.
• Liaising with tenants, contractors and colleagues to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the required standard.
• Monitoring contractor performance, workmanship, costs and completion timescales.
• Carrying out property inspections and quality checks to ensure value for money.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety requirements, policies and procedures.
• Providing a professional, customer-focused service and resolving repair-related issues.
