Jobbeschreibung
AB Transitio is seeking a senior technical resource for the management and development of their Vehicle Management System (FFS), which supports regional train operations. The role involves system technical support, requirements definition, configuration, testing, and delivery acceptance, with close collaboration between management, projects, and suppliers.
Project overview
For our client AB Transitio, we are now looking for a Technical Resource FFS - Vehicle Management System.
Background:
AB Transitio is the system owner for FFS - the Vehicle Management System that supports regional train traffic.
Based on ISO 55000, Transitio manages and develops FFS, the Vehicle Management System. The system will be used throughout Sweden for efficient, data-driven asset management of rolling stock for Transitio and the regional transport companies. The system is under development and implementation during 2027.
AB Transitio is seeking a senior technical resource in the management of FFS. The role combines system technical specialist support, requirements definition, configuration, testing, and delivery acceptance with close collaboration between management, projects, and suppliers.
The technical resource shall independently carry out technical tasks, or together with Transitio and/or suppliers, produce documented material for requirements, decisions, and delivery acceptance, as well as support the establishment of FFS management.
The mandate is exercised in consultation with the FFS System Manager, while formal ordering and approval follow the decision and delegation procedures.
FFS management includes specialized user support for setting up and configuring vehicles, components, and maintenance plans, as well as operational management of vehicle data and FFS information.
The FFS System Manager is the client and recipient of the consultant's deliverables and reporting.
Role's Assignment:
The technical resource, as a senior system technical specialist, provides support in establishing FFS management and receiving FFS project deliveries.
The consultant independently carries out assigned technical tasks and produces documented material for ordering, decisions, and delivery acceptance. The mandate is exercised in consultation with the client; the right to order or formally approve deliveries is determined separately.
Client's Role and Responsibility:
The client defines goals, scope, priorities, delivery requirements, mandate, and responsibilities, arranges necessary documentation and contact channels, and follows up on results. Changes in conditions, risks, and decision needs are handled with the consultant. The client decides within their mandate and forwards other matters to the appropriate decision-maker. Ordering and formal approval follow the applicable decision and delegation procedures; the consultant's technical verification serves solely as a basis for decisions.
