Technical Specialist Migration Street

Project overview

The assignment involves technically guiding and optimizing a migration street for document migrations.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Aligning improvements with the project leader and managing the associated backlog
• Planning releases in consultation with the migration director, outside of migration windows
• Aligning releases with the program-wide release program and collaborating with other projects, such as the implementation of CALS
• Analyzing technical failures reported by migration specialists and translating them into backlog items
• Collaborating with software vendors for proper connection and integration between process components
• Advising the project leader on additional migration resources
• Collaborating with the management organization regarding the freeze approach, access management, and realization of target environments
• Planning, organizing, and executing release tests
• Performing additional activities to optimize the migration street
• Completed HBO or WO education in Business Economics, Information Management, or similar
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with the technical execution of document migrations to M365/SharePoint from DMS applications, SharePoint environments, and file shares
• Experience with at least one migration of more than 1 million documents
• Experience with setting up a migration street that ensures dossier formation and metadata
• Experience with collaboration with software vendors on migration streets for document migration
• Experience with backlog and version management via Azure DevOps, Git, or a similar system
• Minimum of one year-long assignment within a (semi-)governmental organization in the past five years with technical execution of document migrations
• Proficiency in the Dutch language
• VOG (Certificate of Conduct) required within four weeks of award
