Project overview
- Proven experience writing customer-facing technical documentation, particularly user manuals, operating instructions, installation guides, maintenance instructions, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Experience documenting complex mechatronic products, involving a combination of mechanical systems, electronics, sensors, actuators, software, and user interfaces.
- Ability to independently create technical illustrations from 3D CAD data. The engineering team will provide STEP files (see the example below).
- Experience documenting safety-critical functions, including safety warnings, residual risks, limitations of use, emergency procedures, and safe operating and maintenance instructions.
- (plus) Ability to understand technical engineering information such as CAD models, engineering drawings, electrical schematics, system architecture, specifications, and test documentation, and translate it into clear, customer-friendly instructions.
