Test Analyst [Banking Application Testing]

Project overview

We are looking for a senior candidate for the role of Test Analyst with knowledge of JIRA, Zephyr, Oracle SQL and API testing tools for our client in the banking sector for a project of complex testing of key banking systems and applications.

Project requirements

• participation in extensive transformation and quality assurance of modern banking systems across digital channels, branch, and back-office applications
• working within agile and waterfall teams in a specialized Testing Center of Excellence in close cooperation with IT analysts, developers, architects, and international teams
• utilization of advanced tools for test management, automation, and logging such as JIRA, Zephyr, SoapUI, ReadyAPI, Bruno, Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, Graylog, and Kibana
• independent definition of testing strategies, entry and exit criteria, and preparation of effort estimations
• creation of complex test scenarios and preparation of test data
• performing integration, automated, and performance testing
• comprehensive analysis of test results, defect management, and active cooperation on their resolution
• cooperation in a 60% onsite (Prague) and 40% remote mode
• advanced experience with:
• at least 5 years of experience in testing in the role of Test Analyst
• testing in the banking domain and familiarity with banking products
• managing test cases and imports in JIRA and Zephyr
• writing and optimizing queries in Oracle SQL
• API testing and integration testing using SoapUI, ReadyAPI, or Bruno
• experience with:
• automated testing using Selenium or Playwright tools
• performance testing using JMeter
• log analysis in Graylog, Kibana, or PEK tools
• working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• advanced knowledge:
• certification or knowledge at ISTQB Advanced Level
• fluent and active English for daily communication with international teams
• knowledge of:
• familiarity with analytical documentation and modeling using Enterprise Architect and UML
• advantageous:
• experience with complex transformation and migration projects of banking products
