Assignment Description

Dictu is looking for a tester/test automation engineer for the eIDAS (Electronic Identity And Trust Services) project who has an affinity for programming and technical application management (always keeping the security component in mind).

You will join a DevSecOps team and be responsible for maintaining and expanding the existing automated regression set. Additionally, you will have to provide a release assessment for the sprint package each sprint. During the sprint, you will be responsible for building (automated) tests, executing the tests (which you will largely perform yourself), recording findings, and steering based on their status within the team.

Besides functional and automated testing, a part of your work will involve managing the applications.

Furthermore, you will be expected at the office at least once a week, location Assen.

The work includes:

Test preparation and execution and further realization of test automation.

Execution of functional and technical reviews

Execution of regression tests, functional tests, and system integration tests

Setting up, designing, building, and managing test automation using Selenium and Cucumber

Maintaining test cases

Writing release recommendations

Recording own progress

Technical application management

Background of the assignment

Providing citizens and businesses with secure and reliable digital access to services and products of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. As a test engineer, you will literally help build this. And you do this at Dictu: one of the largest and most progressive IT service providers for the central government.

You will contribute to the further development of eIDAS, which stands for Electronic Identity and Trust Services. This link enables cross-border authentication on government websites within the European Union. The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate has a single modern gateway for its services and inspections. Some of these are now securely and reliably accessible to citizens and businesses from eight EU countries thanks to eIDAS. With this, we are implementing the government-wide plans and European regulations for establishing digital identities and authorizations.

This must be done throughout the EU using standardized, secure methods.

You will test and manage eIDAS links. So that, for example, a Belgian working in the Netherlands can log in to mijnpensioenoverzicht.nl. The link routes the requests and responses between the Dutch government website and the Belgian DigiD service. This allows the Belgian to authenticate electronically and use the Dutch government service. This is just one of the many links you will realize together with the team. Each with its own client requirements and a diversity of software between which you build a bridge. Sometimes you devise solutions for additional complex issues.

What do you do, for example, with a mandatory field for a BSN? Of course, you will also help build the reverse path. Think of a Dutchman who wants to pay his speeding ticket fine in Germany online. The eIDAS link then handles the request and response traffic between the German government website and DigiD. For both eIDAS streams, you ensure optimal fulfillment of client requirements through substantive, technical, and functional alignment. You perform tests and write the technical documentation. And if there are incidents

• such as a server failure or the inability to log in from a certain country
• you will help find the solution.

Requirements

Assignment is not suitable for ZZP'ers due to DBA law.

Candidate has at least 5 years of demonstrable relevant testing experience (TMAP), knowledge and experience with test automation, browser-based testing (Selenium, Cucumber and Java or a combination), and load testing.

Candidate has at least 5 years of demonstrable relevant experience with Agile/SCRUM.

Candidate has at least 3 years of knowledge and experience with SAML and OpenID.

Candidate has at least 3 years of knowledge and experience with security testing.

Wishes

Demonstrable experience with cryptography (signing, encryption).

Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.

Demonstrable experience with software development in Java

Certification such as Selenium (CP-SAT) or security testing (OWASP

Additional Information

When you offer a professional to us as a supplier and they are placed, we will need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the DBA Act (Law on the prevention of false employment relationships). The 'WKA' aims to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients by means of a blocked account, the G-rekening. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities.

The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have a SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is located in the Netherlands or abroad. You can apply for the G-rekening from the Tax Authorities. If you cannot obtain a G-rekening (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to provide an accountant's statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) quarterly. In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement about the correctness, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.
