Jobbeschreibung

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer for the Access Granting Service (TVS) and the MIJNTVS portal. The role focuses on automated testing from development to operation, ensuring the quality, security, and reliability of digital services.

Project overview

Assignment Description Access Granting Service: The TVS makes it easy for government organizations to open up their digital services to entrepreneurs and citizens through federated login methods such as eHerkenning and DigiD. The TVS acts as a gateway for service providers, eliminating the need for government organizations to develop and manage connections for these login methods themselves. The TVS thus relieves government organizations of a burden. The TVS currently serves thousands of connected portals, and the growth of recent years will continue in the coming years.

The TVS will remain under continuous development to meet new customer needs and respond to new developments in digital access, with a focus on new legal tasks, scaling, performance and availability of services, and security/privacy. In addition to realizing improved functionality and further developing this generic service, a new portal (MIJNTVS) has been created for connecting customers to this generic service. Representatives of connected parties can manage their connection independently through this portal. The portal is also used by TVS FB for management activities.

Your role for TVS and the MIJNTVS portal: As a test automation engineer at TVS, you are responsible for a (sub-)product from development to operation, with a focus on automated testing. You have knowledge of authentication processes, APIs, Docker, automated test frameworks, and can flawlessly analyze and interpret logging. You coordinate with stakeholders and perform various types of tests (such as regression testing, performance testing, etc.). Furthermore, you help determine the right test plan, work on suitable solution directions, and present results to stakeholders.

Collaboration with colleagues within the TVS DevOps team and other disciplines within DICTU is a regular part of the day.

In summary, as a test automation engineer within TVS, you will be involved in:

All this to ensure that DICTU delivers high-quality, secure, and reliable services to its customers.

  • Automating various types of tests.
  • Setting up, executing, and maintaining regression tests and performance tests.
  • Providing support to the DevOps team.
  • Co-monitoring the stability, availability, and quality of the product.
  • Assisting in resolving second and third-line incidents.
  • Writing and maintaining documentation.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of demonstrable experience as a software tester.

Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with UX test automation using Playwright.

Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience with performance testing.

Minimum 4 years of demonstrable experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Wishes

Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.

Demonstrable knowledge of security-related topics, such as OWASP and Secure Software Development.

Demonstrable experience programming in Java.

Demonstrable experience developing test architecture.

Demonstrable experience with JMeter.

Demonstrable experience with Identity and Access Management systems using SAML.

Competencies

Very good oral and written command of the Dutch language.

Proactive and able to think outside the box.

Able to think and report independently without AI.

Additional Information

When you offer a professional to us as a supplier and they are placed, we will need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Chain Liability Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid). The purpose of the 'WKA' is to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients by means of a blocked account, the G-account. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities.

The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have a SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is established in the Netherlands or abroad. You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Authorities. If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to provide an accountant's statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) every quarter. In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement about the correctness, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.

Please note that the costs for this statement are at your own expense.
