Test Manager

Project overview

The test manager plans, prepares, coordinates, and reports on test trajectories within ICT projects of the RVB.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Performing product risk analyses and translating them into a test strategy and test plan
• Drawing up the master test plan
• Partially performing tests yourself in preparation for test cases and providing input on required recovery work
• Advising on the automation of test cases
• Drawing up a detailed test plan with test scenarios and test cases, together with functional and application administrators
• Guiding data conversions and performing data conversion analyses
• Coordinating with users and administrators about their role in testing
• Having new software versions installed on the test and acceptance environment
• Coordinating progress during the various types of tests
• Managing test documentation
• Organizing the necessary test capacity
• Coordinating and standardizing the testers' working method
• Preparing and chairing test meetings, kick-off, and evaluation of tests
• Supporting testers in logging findings in Jira and managing the findings
• Preparing and chairing findings meetings
• Collaborating with and reporting to the project manager on progress
• HBO work and thinking level
• Minimum 5 years of work experience with test management, including planning, preparing, and coordinating test trajectories
• Knowledge of and experience with test execution, including drawing up and coordinating test scenarios and test scripts
• Experience with managing a test team
• Communicative, environmentally aware, creative, and analytical skills
• Experience with project-based work
