Trainer and Supervisor in Motivational Interviewing (MI)

We are looking for consultant(s) for our client Malmö Stad!

Role:

The authority uses the MI conversation method in its work with clients and relatives. To maintain knowledge of the method, newly hired employees (social workers and licensed healthcare personnel) need to undergo basic training. In addition to this, a number of employees are method supervisors. They have a special assignment to maintain knowledge. They practice the method with the authority's employees based on the needs that arise in their profession during daily work. The method supervisors, in turn, need continuous supervision in the method.

Assignment Description and Delivery

Must-have requirements

• Basic training in MI, three full days
• Supervision of method supervisors during six sessions per year (three in spring, three in autumn, 2 hours each)
• Planning of supervision, reading literature and research concerning elderly care and authority execution
• Possibility to use hours for extra support when needed
• Member of MINT inc.
• At least 5 years of documented knowledge of the authority's target group; elderly persons with somatic conditions and/or illness and what it entails in the meeting between the authority's employees and clients/relatives.
• Experience in change work within social services (social work/social care/nursing care).
• Documented experience in conducting supervision for method supervisors
• Experience with conversations in both face-to-face meetings and via phone

Requirements

Scope:

Bidders shall submit a timeline with a budget in hours and kronor.

Remuneration

Compensation will be based on an hourly rate against the budget.

(No compensation will be paid for travel or travel time.)

• The trainer shall have knowledge of how authority staff work and their assignment in municipal elderly and disability care.
• Pedagogical ability according to previous assignments
• Knowledge of conversations related to domestic violence and crisis calls

Approximately 10% on-site, remaining time remote as agreed with the client.

Option: Yes, the client has the option to extend the contract by 12 months. The client also has the option to order additional/extended supervision sessions, up to six sessions of 2 hours each per session.

Invoicing Information: PayExpress is standard for all our contracts. See information below. Otherwise, 30 days payment term + 1-5 days for administration.

Interview

Consultants may be called for an interview to verify qualification requirements if needed.

Contractual Terms

Terms for the assignment will be based on Ework's agreement with the client (See attachment).

Evaluation

Proposals will be evaluated by Ework based on the best balance between price and quality.
