Video Editor / Social Content Creator - Beauty

Project overview

Our client, a leading beauty brand, is looking for a freelance, social-first Video Editor / Content Creator to work with their team ONSITE for the next 3 months, with the opportunity to extend for the right person. Responsibilities and requirements include:

• Create primarily lo-fi, social-first video content for global channels across TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, and YouTube Shorts.
• Shoot and edit iPhone-first content including interviews, BTS, event coverage, artistry moments, product storytelling, street-style capture, and trend-led concepts.
• Develop fast, platform-native edits using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, and in-app tools, with a strong understanding of hooks, pacing, text overlays, transitions, sound, and social trends.
• Support higher-fidelity beauty video content as needed, including more polished product, talent, and artistry-focused executions.
• Partner with Social, Campaign, and Today teams to concept and execute both planned and reactive content with quick turnaround.
• Capture talent, artists, and products in a way that feels spontaneous, authentic, and native to social while maintaining brand visual standards.
• Bring forward new social-first video ideas, references, editing styles, and formats informed by beauty, fashion, culture, and platform trends.
• Support on-set and event capture, identifying additional mobile-first content opportunities alongside planned production.
• Prepare and organize final assets for social publishing, Figma, ELC DAM, and Dash Hudson workflows.
• Beauty or fashion social experience strongly preferred. In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
