Job description
We are looking for an experienced HSE/Crane Specialist for a major construction site in Germany, focusing on crane, lifting, and heavy load operations. The role involves identifying risks, implementing safety measures, and ensuring compliance with HSSE regulations.
Responsibilities
+ HSSE professional on a major construction site with a focus on crane, lifting, and heavy load operations
+ Identification of safety risks and initiation of preventive measures
+ Consultation on construction site safety issues and coordination between involved trades
+ Regular assessment of contractors' HSSE performance
+ Conducting regular inspections and site walks
+ Monitoring compliance with applicable HSSE rules and legal requirements
+ Coordination of cooperation between construction companies regarding safety and health protection
+ Conducting safety meetings and inspections, including documentation
+ Review and monitoring of required AS/HSSE documents and risk assessments
+ Monitoring the safe execution of crane operations, lifting operations, and heavy load installations
+ Consistent intervention in cases of immediate danger and, if necessary, interruption of dangerous work

Requirements
+ Construction-related education at the engineering level
At least one of the following safety-relevant certifications:
Safety Engineer / Technician / Master
Training as SiGeKo (Construction Site Safety Coordinator)
FaSi / Specialist for Occupational Safety according to § 6 ASiG
+ Several years of experience in major plant construction or on large construction sites
+ Several years of experience in HSSE / occupational safety
Experience with crane operations, lifting operations, and heavy load installations
+ Experience in coordinating multiple trades and contractors
+ Open communication style, teamwork skills, and assertiveness
Hands-on mentality and willingness to address safety-critical issues directly
