Seeking a freelance Project Lead Electrical for a 6+ month contract in Salzgitter, starting November 2, 2026. The role involves managing electrical engineering aspects of a large industrial project.
Responsibilities
+ Creation and/or revision of concepts, plans, drawings, calculations, bills of materials
+ Creation and tracking of process/schedules
+ Work packages for construction management and supervision
+ Creation of reports, minutes, and presentations
+ Scheduling, conducting, and documenting construction meetings
+ Conducting and documenting site inspections
+ Measurement / manufacturing / installation control of components and creation of reports

Requirements
+ Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in electrical power engineering
+ Proof of German language skills C1/C2
+ English C1
+ MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint): advanced skills
+ Simple drawing program (MS Visio, CorelDraw or similar): advanced skills
+ EPlan: basic knowledge
+ Experience in planning and supervising the erection of large electrical installations in an industrial environment, focus on electrical power distribution, low-voltage switchgear, cable systems
+ Experience in construction site supervision, quality assurance, process coordination; with a focus on electrical power distribution systems / measuring instrumentation / cable systems, also in English
+ General physical fitness for use on a large construction site, e.g., walking up stairs in high buildings, walking through extensive underground cable ducts in humid and warm weather, tolerance for typical dust loads on a large construction site
+ Respiratory protection: medical suitability for light respiratory protection/escape respirators G26, Group 1 according to DGUV Rule 112-190 (formerly BGR/GUV-R 190)
