For our client based in Vienna, we are looking for an experienced specialist to take technical responsibility for an established SAP BusinessObjects landscape. This includes the further development of data warehouse and ETL pipelines as well as the modernization of integration and middleware components. The platform is central to the company's reporting, data processing, and system integration.

• Start: Immediately
• Duration: 12 months, extension planned
• Utilization: Full-time
• Location: Vienna (Remote portion by arrangement)
• Language: Very good German skills
• Contract Type: Freelance
• Administration and further development of the SAP BusinessObjects platform, including upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle topics
• Analysis and modernization of architecture, configuration, and integrations
• Resolution of complex technical issues (2nd Level)
• Authorization concepts, roles, and access control
• Consulting business departments on complex reports and dashboards
• Technical documentation and architecture concepts
• Development, maintenance, and monitoring of ETL processes and data integration solutions
• Design and optimization of data warehouse structures, ensuring data quality
• Runtime analysis and performance tuning of queries and data processing
• Further development of Java-based backend components and Python services for monitoring and logging data flows
• Maintenance and optimization of SSO and authentication solutions
• Automation of manual operational processes via scripts and services

Requirements

• Several years of project experience in operation, administration, or further development of SAP BusinessObjects (Universes, Reporting, Dashboards)
• Profound knowledge in Business Intelligence, Reporting, and Data Warehousing
• Experience in development and optimization of ETL processes
• Very good understanding of data models and data integration architectures
• Experience in application management of complex enterprise applications
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Very good German skills
