Job description
Seeking two network technicians to replace network components as part of lifecycle/refresh projects. Responsibilities include planning, documentation, hardware selection and implementation, switch configuration, migration, and testing.
Project overview
- Replacement of network components as part of lifecycle/refresh projects
- Planning and documentation based on CMDB and manufacturer information
- Selection and implementation of new hardware, ideally Cisco experience (Cisco certification desired, not mandatory)
- Configuration of switches
- Execution of migration, assembly, pre-/post-checks, and function tests
- Technical documentation and acceptance
- Professional data deletion and preparation for trade-in or disposal
