Job description
The role involves overseeing the quality of execution on a bridge construction site, including reinforcement acceptance, documentation, progress monitoring, and coordination with stakeholders. Requires at least 5 years of experience in bridge construction supervision, familiarity with steel composite bridges, and a relevant technical or engineering background.
Project overview
Supervision and assurance of execution quality on the construction site.
Conduct and documentation of reinforcement acceptances.
Creation and maintenance of the construction diary and site documentation.
Checking and approval of measurements and invoices from executing companies.
Support of change order management, especially in the creation of justifications and technical statements.
Monitoring of construction progress as well as identification and documentation of deviations.
Participation in and conducting of regular construction meetings with contractors, planners, and the client.
Coordination with structural engineers and other project participants.
Processing and documentation of hindrance notifications and construction process-related events.
Requirements
At least 5 years of professional experience in the construction supervision of bridges.
Experience with steel composite bridges.
Completed training as a construction technician, master craftsman, or a degree in civil engineering.
Proficient use of iTWO, especially for invoice checking.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines, especially ZTV-ING, RAB-ING, VOB, and HOAI Service Phase 8.
German language skills at least at C1 level, spoken and written.
