Senior Software Tester with Test Management Component / New Development Energy Certificate

Responsibilities

• Conception, specification, and execution of functional, integration, interface, and end-to-end tests
• Testing of web/portal applications as well as GUI tests on a client-server application
• Test data creation and data verification in Azure databases and Oracle (on premise)
• Defect tracking and defect reporting
• If necessary: Planning and control of test activities, reporting to project management

Requirements

• Several years of project experience in software testing (functional, integration, interface, and E2E testing)
• Experience with web/portal applications and GUI tests on client-server applications
• Confident handling of databases in Azure and Oracle on prem
• Sound knowledge of test specification techniques and methods, test case creation, test data creation, and test execution
• Routine in defect tracking and reporting
• Tool knowledge in Jira/Confluence, ALM or similar
• Initial experience in test management
• Independent, structured, and proactive way of working
• Strong communication skills and empathy in exchange with the business department and development
• Very good German language skills
