Freelance Functional Consultant MS Dynamics 365 - Focus Business Central

Project overview

Hi all,

For an ongoing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central project in a production environment, we are looking for an experienced Freelance Functional Consultant on short notice.

The current implementation partner is experiencing a capacity bottleneck. Therefore, we are not looking for someone to merely manage the existing system, but rather someone who can quickly familiarize themselves with the project, independently drive topics forward, and proactively solve emerging problems.

An initial MVP has been implemented so far. However, the current deployment has a significantly larger project perspective behind it.

Framework Data

• Start immediately or as soon as possible
• Duration initially until the end of 2026
• Full-time utilization
• On-site at Basel for the first 4-5 weeks, then remote possible
• German language mandatorily required, English also necessary
• Environment: small to medium-sized enterprises
• Industry: Production environment

• Consciously challenge the live environment
• Recording, evaluation, and independent resolution of functional issues
• Coordination with business departments, project team, and existing implementation partner
• Support in the further conception and implementation of the Business Central solution
• Proactive identification of optimization opportunities and open project topics
• Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Clear focus as a Functional Consultant
• Very good understanding of ERP processes and their mapping in Business Central
• Experience in implementation, rollout, or transformation projects
• Ability to structure topics independently and actively drive solutions forward
• Experience in the production or manufacturing environment is an advantage
• Very good German language skills
• Good English language skills
• Willingness for on-site deployment in Basel
