Billing Coordinator (Freelance)

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Billing Coordinator on a freelance basis for a civil engineering project in the Nuremberg region. The position is to be filled immediately and is planned for 12 months, with an option for extension.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the creation and review of interim and final invoices according to VOB/B and VOB/C. You will independently conduct quantity take-off checks and calculate quantities based on technical plans and on-site data. You will coordinate closely with project management, site managers, and subcontractors to clarify billing discrepancies. Furthermore, you will support the identification of performance deviations and prepare additional claims. Continuous controlling of the project budget and target-actual comparisons are also part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

You have a degree in civil engineering, training as a construction technician, or a comparable qualification with sound technical understanding. Relevant experience in billing civil engineering projects (sewer construction, road construction, earthworks) is required. You possess in-depth knowledge of VOB and common billing standards. Proficiency in billing and calculation software as well as MS Excel is assumed. A structured, results-oriented way of working and a high affinity for numbers complete your profile.

The position is to be filled with 100% utilization on-site.
