• Development of software solutions for recording video material of railway infrastructure with mobile devices (iOS) including position determination, sensor data analysis, and anonymization procedures (AI models / Convolutional Neural Network (CNN))
• Development of software architecture solutions for recording video material of railway infrastructure including position determination, sensor data analysis, and anonymization procedures
• Development of visual measurement systems based on objects in video recordings
• Development of localization solutions based on video material, GPS, and sensor data
• Advising the client on the technical architecture (strategy) of the IT systems in the thematic area, their further development, and identifying potential improvements to the existing technical architecture
• Promoting and driving the implementation of the technology strategy, the exchange of architectural and technical knowledge, as well as innovation and standardization in the project.
• Performing risk management by assessing and documenting technical risks, deriving and advising on action options for eliminating or minimizing risks.
• Consulting on the implementation of the technical architecture in software development
• Development of the technical architecture from the requirements, coordination and monitoring of its implementation in the project (quality assurance).
• Analysis of functional requirements for IT systems and derivation, development, and creation of technical implementation possibilities
• Creation of technical architecture concepts for IT systems in the project context (such as database design, component specifications, technical interface and service descriptions) in accordance with the client's standards and reference architectures
• Determination of non-functional requirements, documentation, coordination, and monitoring of their implementation in the project (quality assurance)
• Definition of requirements for hardware and software equipment
• Effort estimation for the technical solution in the project
• Presentations on technically complex topics
• Moderation of workshops on technical architecture topics in the field
• Conducting reviews of design, code, and tests
• German (C1)
• At least 5 years of experience in developing cloud-based software architecture for video recording with iOS connectivity. Experience level in years Senior (> 5 years experience)
• At least 5 years of experience in developing AI-supported computer vision methods with PyTorch/YOLOv Experience level in years
• Senior (> 5 years experience)
• At least 5 years of experience in developing a native iOS app for recording video material of railway infrastructure. Technology stack: Swift Experience level in years Senior (> 5 years experience)
• At least 3 years of experience in developing a visual measurement system based on object detection in video recordings. Technology stack: opencv, scipy Experience level in years Intermediate (> 3 years experience)
• At least 5 years of experience in full-stack (web) development with Java and Python Experience level in years Senior (> 5 years experience)
