Seeking experienced IT specialists for the operation and assurance of complex IT infrastructure and platform environments in the Aerospace & Public Sector. The role requires on-site presence in Donauwörth.
Project overview
For a demanding environment in the Aerospace & Public Sector, we are looking for experienced IT specialists for the operation and assurance of availability, performance, security, and recoverability of complex IT infrastructure and platform environments.
Due to the high security requirements, services are provided exclusively on-site in Donauwörth and partially in sensitive environments.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
Responsible coverage of at least two of the following focus domains in ongoing operations:
Expected Results and Deliverables:
- Linux / Unix Operations: Administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux/Unix systems.
- VMware Virtualization Services: Support, optimization, and troubleshooting of VMware virtualization environments.
- NetApp Storage Services: Administration and monitoring of NetApp storage systems.
- Database Operations: Operation and maintenance of databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Backup & Recovery Services: Ensuring data backup and recovery operations (preferably Veeam).
- Application Operations & Service Monitoring: Application operation, monitoring, and proactive troubleshooting.
- Creation of status, performance, capacity, and security reports.
- Execution of incident and problem analyses.
- Proof and verification of backup, restore, and disaster recovery tests.
- Maintenance and updating of technical documentation, operating manuals (runbooks), and knowledge base articles.
- Compliance with defined SLAs and service specifications.
Requirements

- Security Clearance: Valid security clearance SÜ2 is mandatory.
- Technical Know-how: Demonstrable, in-depth knowledge in at least two of the above core domains.
- Language Skills: Business-fluent German language skills (due to on-site requirements in the public sector/aerospace environment).
- Travel / Presence: 100% commitment on-site in Donauwörth (no remote option).
