We are currently looking for an Agile Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer for one of our direct clients.

Responsibilities

• Planning, moderating, and conducting requirements workshops for the systematic collection, clarification, and coordination of business requirements with relevant project stakeholders
• Transferring gathered requirements into Epics and User Stories, including formulating clear and understandable acceptance criteria as a basis for agile implementation
• Documenting, structuring, and continuously maintaining requirements and User Stories in Jira and Confluence to ensure a transparent and understandable requirements base
• Preparing and supporting Backlog Refinements for the concretization of requirements, clarification of open questions, and coordination of User Stories with the development team
• Supporting the execution of Sprint Plannings through the business explanation and coordination of requirements, as well as clarifying questions from the Scrum team
• Supporting the Product Owner and the Scrum team with business-related questions, as well as clarifying requirements and continuously maintaining the Product Backlog

• At least five years of professional and project experience in Requirements Engineering and Requirements Management
• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a comparable degree with an IT focus (at least University of Applied Sciences or Bachelor's degree)
• Alternatively: completed training as an IT specialist with a focus on application development or proven equivalent skills and experience of at least five years
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, at least C1 level according to CEFR
• Good English language skills, especially in listening and reading comprehension
• Sound knowledge of linear project procedures, especially V-Modell XT
• Sound knowledge of agile project procedures, especially Scrum
• Experience in capturing, describing, and methodically structuring functional and non-functional requirements
• Knowledge in modeling and structuring business processes
• Experience in gathering and documenting goals, stakeholders, and tasks
• Experience in creating requirements documents for IT solutions, especially requirements documentation and specifications of requirements (Lastenhefte)
• Experience in documenting customer and developer requirements
• Knowledge in evaluating requirements regarding economic efficiency and impact
• Sound knowledge of UML and BPMN
• Willingness to commit according to the Compulsory Service Act (VerpflG)
• Willingness for security screening of level Ü2 according to the Security Screening Act (SÜG)
• Willingness to commit to data secrecy according to § 53 BDSG

Project Background

As part of a European digitalization project, an IT system for the digital processing and secure exchange of tax-relevant data between different member states is being further developed. The goal is to modernize existing processes, enable automated data exchange via defined interfaces, and ensure the data quality and up-to-dateness of relevant information.

To support the project, an experienced requirements analyst is sought who can systematically gather, analyze, document, and prepare business requirements for implementation by agile development teams. The work will be carried out in close cooperation with the Product Owner, business departments, software architecture, and development.
