• You develop complex Java-based backend systems in larger IT projects.
• You design and implement modern microservice architectures with Java 17 or higher, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, REST/JSON interfaces, and Maven.
• You work with modern development and DevOps tools such as GitLab, GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube, Jira, and Confluence.
• You implement test automation and quality assurance with modern test frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, Cucumber, and Spring Cloud Contract.
• You use AI-powered development tools for software development, test automation, code analysis, documentation, and quality assurance.
• You develop and integrate AI or GenAI-powered product features into productive backend systems.
• You integrate Large Language Models via APIs, considering prompting, structured outputs, tool/function calling, and error handling.
• You use Java-based AI integration frameworks such as Spring AI, LangChain4j, or comparable solutions.
• You evaluate and secure AI results through test datasets, automated evaluations, regression tests, and functional acceptance criteria.
• You consider security and data protection requirements when using AI, especially regarding the protection of confidential data, access control, data minimization, prompt injection protection, and traceable logging.
• You integrate AI-powered services into existing microservice and REST architectures, considering availability, costs, scalability, and resilience.
• You provide technical support and guidance to developers, for example through code reviews, pair programming, or coaching.
• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in developing complex Java-based backend systems within larger IT projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in developing modern microservice architectures based on Java 17 or higher, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, REST/JSON interfaces, and Maven.
• At least 5 years of experience with modern development and DevOps tools such as GitLab, GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience in test automation and quality assurance with JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, Cucumber, and Spring Cloud Contract.
• Experience in the productive use of AI-powered development tools as well as practical experience in the development and integration of AI-powered product features.
• Practical experience in the design and implementation of AI or GenAI-powered software functions in productive backend systems.
• Experience in integrating Large Language Models via APIs, including prompting, structured outputs, tool/function calling, and error handling.
• Experience with Java-based AI integration frameworks such as Spring AI, LangChain4j, or comparable solutions.
• Experience with the evaluation and quality assurance of AI results through test datasets, automated evaluations, regression tests, and functional acceptance criteria.
• Experience with security and data protection requirements when using AI, especially protection of confidential data, access control, data minimization, prompt injection protection, and traceable logging.
• Experience in integrating AI-powered services into existing microservice and REST architectures, considering availability, costs, scalability, and resilience.

• Experience with observability and monitoring solutions like Grafana or comparable tools.
• Experience in applying secure coding principles and security standards such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and OWASP.
