The Project

For a building construction project, an experienced freelance consultant (m/f/d) is sought for the creation of measurements in the building construction trades of cost group 300. The focus is on quantity surveying according to VOB Part C, the creation of verifiable measurement documents in AVA software (preferably RIB iTWO), and the preparation of PDF-based measurement plans as a traceable basis for billing.

Responsibilities

• Independent creation of measurements according to VOB Part C (ATV, DIN 18299 ff.) in the building construction trades of KG 300
• Creation of measurement documents in AVA software, preferably RIB iTWO, with traceable calculation approaches and reference to positions and plans
• Creation of PDF-based measurement plans with marked measurement areas and dimensions as a verifiable appendix for billing
• Application of trade-specific billing rules of the ATV, especially for over-measurement and deductions for openings
• Reconciliation of determined quantities with the bill of quantities, plans, and documented performance status
• Clarification of open quantity issues with the technically involved parties and documentation of the results
• Structured handover of measurement documents for invoice verification

Requirements

Framework Data

• Several years of experience in creating measurements and quantity surveying in building construction
• Very good knowledge of VOB/C and the billing rules for building construction trades
• Confident use of RIB iTWO or comparable AVA software
• Experience in creating measurement plans as PDF, for example with Bluebeam
• Experience with subcontractor billing and invoice verification is an advantage
