Job description
Seeking an Azure Cloud Architect with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and operating hybrid cloud platforms, particularly within Microsoft Azure. The role involves consulting on architecture, evaluating requirements, and automating deployments.
Project overview
For my client, I am looking for an Azure Cloud Architect.
Responsibilities
- Consulting on architecture, deployment options, and further development of Microsoft Azure Public, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local
- Evaluation of new functional and technical requirements regarding feasibility, security, compliance, and operability
- Creation and updating of technical solution and architecture concepts
- Development, maintenance, and documentation of PowerShell scripts and ARM templates
- Automation of the deployment and configuration of IaaS and PaaS components
- Conducting code and quality checks according to the client's specifications
- Versioning and deployment of work results in the designated Azure DevOps repositories
Requirements
- Several years of practical experience in the conception, architecture, implementation, or operation of hybrid cloud platforms
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Azure Public, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local
- Practical experience with Azure resources and services, especially App Service, WebJobs, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, and Azure SQL
- Extensive experience in automation with PowerShell and ARM templates
- Practical experience with Azure DevOps, especially Repositories, Pipelines, and Team Projects
- Experience in analyzing and resolving complex technical issues
- Knowledge of relevant information security and compliance requirements
- Experience in creating technical architecture, operational, and security documentation
- Good spoken and written German and English skills
- Independent, structured, and team-oriented way of working
- Experience with applications and multi-tier architectures based on Microsoft .NET
- Relevant Microsoft certifications for Azure, Hybrid, and infrastructure technologies
