Experienced Azure Solution Architect needed for building an international B2B customer platform on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on designing a scalable cloud platform, integrating existing systems, and preparing for international rollout.
Project overview
An experienced Azure Solution Architect is sought for the development of an international B2B customer platform based on Microsoft Azure. The focus is on designing a scalable cloud platform, integrating existing enterprise systems, and preparing for an international rollout. The project combines modern cloud architectures, security requirements, and AI-related technologies in an enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Consulting and further development of the target Azure architecture
- Definition of cloud governance, security, and network standards
- Design of high availability, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
- Development and optimization of Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD concepts
- Support in the integration of data platforms and enterprise systems
- Implementation of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Coordination with IT stakeholders and external partners
- Technical knowledge transfer within the project team
Requirements
- Several years of experience as an Azure Solution Architect or Azure Cloud Architect
- Profound knowledge in the design and operation of enterprise Azure environments
- Very good knowledge of Azure Networking and Cloud Security
- Experience with Azure Front Door, Entra ID, Private Endpoints, and WAF
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/ARM)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Knowledge of cloud governance, cost optimization, and scaling concepts
- Experience with multi-region architectures as well as backup and DR concepts
- Very good German and English language skills
Nice to have
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
- Experience with B2B portals or self-service platforms
- Knowledge of SAP integration scenarios
- Experience with Data Lake architectures
- Knowledge of AKS or Azure Container Apps
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., GDPR)
