For our client in the public sector, we are currently looking for a Backend Developer with a focus on Keycloak and authentication.

Assignment: 85% Remote and 15% on-site, willingness to travel desired

• Connecting ELSTER as an external identity provider to Keycloak
• Configuration and customization of Keycloak
• Development of individual Keycloak extensions (SPI) with Java
• Conception and implementation of authentication and authorization solutions
• Integration of interfaces and external systems into existing architectures
• Sound knowledge in Java development
• Basic knowledge of authentication protocols such as OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth 2.0, and SAML
• Ideally, practical experience with Keycloak configuration and SPI development
• Knowledge of modern Java frameworks, e.g., Jakarta EE (JEE), Eclipse MicroProfile, or Quarkus
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases as well as database modeling, especially PostgreSQL and Oracle
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Tekton, or Argo CD
• Knowledge of agile development methods such as Scrum and SAFe
• Experience in cloud-native development with containers, microservices, and Kubernetes
• Knowledge in product-oriented architectures and the development of REST interfaces
• Independent, conceptual way of working as well as willingness to familiarize yourself with new technologies and subject areas
