Backend Developer XSJS

Project overview

For a project in the transport and logistics sector, we are looking for an experienced backend developer with a focus on XSJS. You will implement technical components in applications based on XSJS, JavaScript, SQLScript, and SAP HANA, and support the team with migrations, architectural consulting, and IT concepts.

The project is planned for 24 months and starts in January 2027. The work location is Frankfurt am Main with a 95% remote share and only 5% on-site presence required per year.

Your tasks include the implementation of technical components, functional support for migrations, architectural consulting, troubleshooting, code and design reviews, as well as the creation of delivery packages and system documentation.

We are looking for senior developers with at least 5 years of experience in backend development with XSJS, frontend development with JavaScript, and backend development with SQLScript. Experience as an Implementation Lead in maintenance (Transport & Logistics) is required.

Beneficial are current knowledge in SAP BW architecture (SAP BTP, SAP HANA), experience in presenting complex issues at management level, and proven project experience with agile methodologies such as SCRUM or SAFe (at least 3 references each).
