Construction and Assembly Management

Project overview

Oversee the proper execution of pipeline, boiler, and steel construction work according to contracts, technical documentation, and safety regulations. Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) requirements on the construction site. Lead and guide own teams and subcontractors in implementing HSE and project requirements. Monitor and document subcontractor performance in the context of construction progress. Conduct progress and quality checks, including material and time accounting. Coordinate and control assembly processes up to the final inspection according to schedule and quality.

Prepare and carry out the handover of facilities for commissioning. Support the site manager in daily construction site management. Clarify technical issues with the responsible departments at headquarters.

Requirements

Completed degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or comparable qualification as a technician/master craftsman. Several years of professional experience on international construction sites, ideally in power plant construction or waste incineration plants. Initial leadership experience in construction management, assembly management, or site supervision. Relevant practical experience in pipeline construction, boiler construction, and/or steel construction. Experience as a fitter/welder is an advantage. Sound knowledge of HSE management (Health, Safety, Environment).

Experience in welding technology and welding processes. Fluent English and good German language skills, both written and spoken. Willingness for international business travel and long-term site assignments in Europe (from a few weeks to approx. 1 year per project). Strong leadership qualities and practice-oriented problem-solving skills. High self-motivation, team orientation, dynamism, and customer orientation.
