Project overview

For a project to be set up at short notice, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager (m/f/d) with a background in electrical engineering, project management, and civil engineering, starting immediately until the end of the year.

Framework Conditions

Responsibilities

Structuring, planning, and controlling the overall project

Organizing, preparing, and moderating expert workshops

Consolidating technical contributions and information from the areas of technology, purchasing, and procurement

Developing a roadmap for further measures from 2027 onwards

Supporting the development of a procurement strategy for substations (UW) and network nodes (NK)

Preparing decision-making bases and management presentations

Stakeholder management and ensuring goal-oriented collaboration of all parties involved

Content Focus

Benchmarking and analysis of procedures used by other distribution network operators

Clustering and prioritizing suitable starter projects

Developing framework contract strategies for bundling substation projects

Market analysis and identification and acquisition of potential suppliers and partners

Consideration of regulatory requirements, especially sector regulations and public procurement law frameworks

Requirements

Several years of experience as a Project Manager in infrastructure, energy, or network expansion projects

Degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering, or comparable qualification

Sound knowledge of project management for complex technical projects

Experience in moderating workshops and managing interdisciplinary teams

Ideally, knowledge in the areas of procurement, purchasing, or contract strategies

Structured, analytical, and results-oriented way of working

Confident demeanor at management level

The goal of the project is the development of a sustainable procurement strategy for substations and network nodes. The focus is less on detailed technical planning and more on the structured consolidation, moderation, and control of contributions from internal subject matter experts, as well as on the development of a robust target vision for the coming years.
