Project overview
For a demanding data center project in the greater Mainz area, we are looking for an experienced Construction Manager (m/f/d) in the field of security technology, starting immediately.
The focus is on the coordination, monitoring, and quality assurance of security technology trades within a technically complex construction project. We are looking for a strong personality with in-depth experience in technical building equipment and the management of subcontractors.
Area of Responsibility
Independent construction management and coordination of security technology trades
Monitoring the installation and implementation of intrusion detection systems (EMA), access control systems (ZUKO), and video surveillance (CCTV)
Management and coordination of subcontractors and executing specialist companies
Ensuring timely, qualitative, and proper execution
Verification of work based on execution plans, technical specifications, and applicable standards
Coordination with project management, specialist planners, and adjacent trades
Accompanying functional tests, commissioning, and technical acceptances
Documentation of construction progress and follow-up of open points and defects
Requirements Profile
Completed technical training, master craftsman, technician, or engineering qualification in electrical engineering, security technology, or comparable
Several years of professional experience in the construction management of security technology systems
In-depth knowledge of EMA, access control systems, and CCTV
Experience in coordinating subcontractors on larger construction sites
Ideally, experience in data centers, industrial plants, or comparable large-scale projects
Proficient in handling technical drawings and execution documents
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
Very good German language skills; English skills are an advantage
