Job description
The role involves construction supervision for civil engineering and traffic facilities projects, focusing on quality management, communication, and ensuring project progress according to standards.
Project overview
+ Analysis:
Analysis of the available planning documents, especially static and operational documents, including BIM data according to requirements.
+ Construction Supervision according to Phase 8:
Carrying out classic construction supervision of civil engineering structures, traffic facilities, sewer construction, and retaining wall work according to contractually defined quality, schedule, and cost standards. Reviewing technical executions for compliance with approved planning documents and relevant regulations and standards.
+ Quality Management:
Ensuring quality assurance on the construction site through regular checks and independent verification of executed services (e.g., concrete pouring, asphalt laying, control tests).
+ Communication and Documentation:
Independent coordination with clients, planning offices, and executing companies. Documentation of all measures taken using a construction diary, weekly reports, and BIM tool (Notes BIM for ÖBÜ).
+ Ensuring Project Progress:
Monitoring and consideration of project-related track closures in rail operations and coordination of the corresponding work with all parties involved. Independent planning and supervision of construction site operations and critical work, including at night and on weekends, if necessary.
+ Technical Coordination:
Accompanying and supervising the dismantling of existing structures and subsequent new construction work (e.g., retaining walls, pipework, road connections, steel composite construction of bridges). Conception and coordination of the implementation of construction-technical details with the respective specialist departments of the involved trades (civil engineering, traffic facilities, railway technology).
+ Documentation:
Creation of detailed technical documentation with final handover to the client.
Requirements
+ Studies in Civil Engineering
+ Specialization in Civil Engineering and/or Traffic Facilities
+ Minimum 3 years of experience as a Construction Supervisor
+ Experience on comparable infrastructure projects
+ Experience in the field of civil engineering structures and traffic facilities
