Construction Supervision for Cable Installation and Building Services Systems

Project overview

The core task is the construction and assembly supervision of building services (TGA) with a focus on the installation of cables and cable support systems at the converter station site.

This includes in particular the following activities:

labeling, connection work, protective measures, and compliance with approved cable and assembly documents

documentation

testing documentation

• Familiarization with contractual requirements, technical specifications, approved planning documents, and project-specific requirements
• Support in the supervision of assembly and pre-commissioning of TGA systems
• Verification of execution for compliance with approved planning, technical specifications, manufacturer data, and applicable regulations
• Supervision of interfaces between TGA, construction, electrical, plant, and control engineering, and coordination with involved disciplines
• Control of material delivery, storage, labeling, installation, and protection
• Focused supervision of cable assembly, especially cable pulling and cable support systems, laying, fastening, bending radii, tensile forces,
• Accompanying and technical evaluation of tests, functional proofs, commissioning, and acceptance, including verification of associated
• Accompanying and verifying cable-related measurements, tests, and proofs, as well as controlling the complete cable pulling, connection, and
• Identification, documentation, classification, and tracking of defects and open points until confirmed resolution
• Monitoring of construction and assembly progress, and reporting on quality, deadlines, risks, and deviations to the client
• Participation in construction, assembly, interface, quality, and commissioning meetings, as well as providing technical advice to the client
• Verification of existing and revision documents for completeness and conformity with the executed system
• Compliance with and consideration of HSE requirements in all supervision activities; independent HSE supervision remains unaffected by this

Requirements

Performance start date is 09.11.2026 on-site at the Bergrheinfeld site near Schweinfurt. If you are interested in the project but can only start at a later date, please indicate the earliest date you can start.

The activity is 100% on-site! Possibly remote on individual days.

• Completed training as a technician or master craftsman in electrical engineering or building services engineering
• At least 5 years of professional experience in electrical building services (preferably industrial plants or large projects)
• Demonstrable experience in construction and assembly supervision
• Confident handling of execution, assembly, workshop, and revision documents
• Good knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and technical rules
• Driving license class B and availability of a vehicle
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
• Extensive practical experience in the construction supervision of cable installations and of building services plants and systems required
• Ability for technical coordination with site management, specialist planners, HSE, and executing companies
• Knowledge of defect management, acceptance procedures, and follow-up of remedial work
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, esp. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc., and willingness to learn new software solutions
• Teamwork skills, strong communication, and independent work ethic
