Construction Supervisor / BÜW in Stuttgart

Project overview

We, emagine, are looking for six experienced Construction Supervisors (BÜW) for our partner for a railway project in Stuttgart. You will be responsible for construction supervision in tunnel and shaft construction using sprayed concrete methods during excavation and lining. Our partner is one of the significant players in the railway industry and is realizing a demanding infrastructure project of great importance for rail transport in Germany. The work will be carried out in shifts, day and night, in continuous operation.

Responsibilities

• You will supervise construction services in tunnel and shaft construction using sprayed concrete methods
• You will document construction services in the construction diary
• You will manage the defect list
• You will carry out technical acceptances
• You will control compliance with applicable work and safety regulations
• You will briefly take over construction supervision for other structural works

Requirements

• Technical construction training in a trade of the main construction industry, for example foreman, master craftsman, skilled worker, construction technician, or civil engineer
• Several years of practical experience in tunnel construction using sprayed concrete methods
• Confident handling of plans and documentation
• Independent way of working, assertiveness, reliability, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in shifts and continuous operation, day and night
