Seeking an IT Infrastructure Consultant with a focus on Carve-Out projects to analyze, evaluate, and technically support existing IT infrastructures during strategic company changes. The role involves identifying dependencies, assessing risks, and supporting the separation and transfer of IT infrastructures.
Project overview
Support is sought in the area of IT infrastructure as part of strategic corporate changes. The focus is on the analysis, evaluation, and technical support of existing IT infrastructures in the context of Carve-Out projects as well as investment and divestment initiatives. The goal is to identify existing infrastructure dependencies, assess technical risks, and support the secure and economical separation and transfer of IT infrastructures.
Responsibilities
- Analysis and evaluation of existing IT infrastructures, systems, and technical dependencies
- Support in the planning and implementation of IT Carve-Out measures in the infrastructure area
- Evaluation of server, network, storage, cloud, and data center infrastructures
- Identification and documentation of technical dependencies and potential risks
- Execution of technical feasibility analyses and evaluation of possible migration scenarios
- Support in the separation, migration, and integration of existing IT systems and infrastructure components
- Coordination with internal IT teams, external service providers, and other project stakeholders
- Creation of technical documentation, decision proposals, and recommendations for action
Requirements
- Sound experience in IT infrastructure and infrastructure management
- Experience in IT migration, transformation, or Carve-Out projects
- Good knowledge in the areas of server, network, virtualization, storage, and cloud technologies
- Experience in analyzing complex IT landscapes and technical dependencies
- Knowledge in technical risk management
- Experience in the healthcare sector
- Basic understanding of economic contexts as well as cost and budget aspects
- Structured, analytical, and independent way of working
