Service Description

• Design of logistical project planning and execution in SAP PS, as well as consulting on milestones and billing-relevant project data
• Conception and coordination of project-related material requirements and procurement processes
• Functional conception of the transfer of project and product structures, material data, bills of materials, and relevant documents from Engineering/PLM systems to SAP
• Clarification of data responsibility, object assignment, approvals, and change processes, as well as their impact on project planning and procurement
• Functional specification of interfaces and coordination of implementation, as well as analysis of errors and support of functional acceptance
• Evaluation and processing of requirements and tasks concerning SAP standard and development of implementable solution proposals
• Implementation or coordination of the required PS customizing and project templates
• Preparation and execution of end-to-end tests from customer order through engineering and project procurement to delivery and handover to billing

• Several years of experience in consulting and implementation with SAP PS, preferably in SAP S/4HANA and in mechanical or plant engineering
• Expertise in logistical functions of SAP PS, especially network plans, material components, requirements transfer, external procurement, project stocks, and scheduling
• Know-how in PS/MM & PS/SD integration for project-related material planning and procurement
• Routine handling in the functional integration of Engineering/PLM systems into SAP, especially material and bill of materials transfers, structure assignment, and approval and change processes
• Practical knowledge in describing cross-system data flows and interface requirements
• Understanding of adjacent processes in PP and CO and their dependencies on project logistics
• Ability to translate functional requirements into SAP processes, customizing, and concrete test cases, and to independently demonstrate solutions in the system
• Good German and English skills, spoken and written
