BIM Content Developer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced BIM Content Developer to develop and maintain plugins, add-ins, and automation solutions for leading CAD and BIM platforms. In this role, you will work at the interface between software development and engineering processes, designing innovative digital solutions.

Your tasks include developing applications and integrations using C#, .NET, and various APIs (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks). You will create interfaces between BIM applications and specialized engineering software, support the exchange of engineering data, and the creation of IFC-based deliverables. Furthermore, you will integrate Autodesk Platform Services into internal applications and develop web-based BIM solutions with viewer integrations.

Another focus is on analyzing and optimizing digital engineering workflows through automation, as well as analyzing and resolving technical problems. You will manage requirements, development tasks, and bugs using modern project management tools.

We expect a completed university degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture, BIM, or a comparable technical field. Several years of professional experience in BIM software development, CAD application development, or engineering software automation is required. You should have sound programming knowledge in C# and .NET, as well as experience in desktop application development with WPF and the MVVM pattern. Practical development experience with at least two of the mentioned APIs (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or Autodesk Platform Services) is necessary.

The workplace is located in Berlin and is performed on-site.
