Business Analyst/Project Coordinator 20-50% – Business Informatics/HERMES/IT Projects/Proxy PO/Public Sector

For our client in the public sector, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst/Project Coordinator (925205JP) with proven expertise in IT projects and initial project management experience according to HERMES. In this key role, you will participate in demanding digitalization and transformation projects within the Swiss public administration environment and, depending on the project phase, also take on tasks as a Proxy Product Owner or Product Owner.

Responsibilities

– Analysis, specification, and documentation of business and IT requirements in complex projects

– Recording, modeling, and optimization of business processes in close cooperation with specialist departments and IT

– Leading or coordinating (sub-)projects according to HERMES in the environment of Swiss authorities

– Taking on the role of Proxy PO / Product Owner (backlog management, prioritization, coordination with stakeholders)

– Creation of functional concepts, use cases, user stories, and decision papers

– Support with tenders, evaluations, and introduction of new IT solutions

– Close collaboration with project management, architecture, development, testing, and operations

– Moderation of workshops, requirements interviews, and coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

– At least 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager/Project Coordinator in IT projects

– Proven experience as a Business Analyst in at least two IT projects

– Project management experience from at least one project within a Swiss authority

– Experience as a (Proxy) Product Owner

– Strong analytical skills, structured way of working, and high consulting and communication competence

– Confident use of common methods and tools in Requirements Engineering (e.g., UML/BPMN, User Stories, Jira, Confluence)

Education:

– Completed tertiary education (FH/Uni/ETH) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or comparable qualification

– HERMES certification

Languages:

– Very good German skills, written and spoken (minimum level C1)

– French Business Fluent (documentation and creation of documents in German and French)

– Good English skills
