Project Focus: For a strategic simplification initiative in the banking environment, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Business Engineer with a high affinity for processes and data. The focus is on simplifying and optimizing the customer and contract landscape, master data, and associated processes and systems. The goal is to reduce complexity, harmonize data structures, and develop sustainable target states and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and documentation of the sales, master data, and system landscape, including data flows, interfaces, and dependencies
• Analysis and optimization of end-to-end processes in customer and contract management, as well as development of target states and future processes
• Collection, consolidation, and modeling of requirements, business processes, and conceptual data models
• Identification of complexity reduction, automation, and optimization potentials, as well as development of sustainable solutions
• Creation of business cases, effort estimations, risk analyses, and decision proposals, as well as support for PoCs and tenders
• Workshop moderation, stakeholder coordination, and management communication with business departments, IT, and parallel initiatives, as well as contribution of market trends and best practices

• Senior Business Analyst / Business Engineer with at least 12 years of professional experience, ideally in banking or a comparably complex environment
• Sound experience in customer and contract management, sales processes, master data management, as well as complex transformation, optimization, and digitalization projects
• Strong analytical and strategic competence in developing target states, functional concepts, and sustainable solutions
• Very good knowledge of BPMN/UML, ideally Enterprise Architect, as well as experience with complex system landscapes, interfaces, data structures, and modern technologies
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as in agile, interdisciplinary teams
• Very good communication, moderation, and stakeholder management skills, as well as experience in collaborating with business departments, IT, and management
• Ability to structure complex issues, communicate them understandably, and present them at management level
• Advantageous: Siebel CRM, practical experience with AI tools in business analysis/project implementation, as well as knowledge of current market trends and best practices in customer and contract management.
