Job description
Identify and evaluate target markets and use cases for a modem product, develop market and sales strategies, and acquire strategic customers in the NTN and SATCOM sectors.
Project overview
+ Market and potential analysis: Identification and evaluation of relevant target markets and application scenarios (use cases) in the area of a modem.
+ Market development: Analysis of the European NTN and SATCOM market as well as identification of new business opportunities.
+ Product strategy: Derivation and definition of market and customer requirements for the product roadmap of a modem (UE).
+ Business Development: Development and implementation of market and sales strategies for the NTN modem product.
+ Customer acquisition: Targeted identification of strategic customers.
+ Market feedback: Recording and evaluation of customer needs as well as feedback/recommendation into product development
Requirements
+ Sound market knowledge in the NTN sector (Non-Terrestrial Networks).
+ Very good knowledge of the European satellite communication market (SATCOM).
+ Demonstrable experience in business development in the SATCOM/telecommunications environment.
+ Technical understanding of modems and satellite-based mobile communication.
+ Understanding of NTN modem technologies and User Equipment (UE).
+ Experience in identifying and developing new markets and business areas.
+ Experience in defining and deriving market and customer requirements for technical products.
+ Experience in strategic customer and partner acquisition.
+ Sound SATCOM experience, ideally with European customers and partners.
