Civil Engineer needed for planning and design of traffic and infrastructure projects, including roads, parking areas, and logistics spaces. The role involves technical leadership, project management, and ensuring compliance with German building law.
Responsibilities
Profile
- Planning and design of traffic and infrastructure measures (roads, parking areas, logistics areas, footpaths, bus stops)
- Creation of concepts, detailed plans, and technical drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Technical leadership of infrastructure projects as well as support and guidance of junior engineers and external planners
- Support of all project phases according to German building law and HOAI, from feasibility studies to construction execution
- Evaluation and approval of technical solutions considering costs, permits, deadlines, and feasibility
- Creation of bills of quantities (BoQ), reports, presentations, and approval documents
- Interface management between operations, production, environment, construction, facility management, and external partners
- Technical support of construction execution, including processing RFIs and on-site quality checks
- Completed studies in civil engineering with a focus on traffic, civil, or infrastructure planning
- Experience in infrastructure projects
- Very good knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D, ideally also Revit
- Experience in the planning of roads, traffic areas, and underground utility lines
- Knowledge of relevant German regulations and standards (DIN, FGSV, DWA, ASR, AwSV, WHG)
- Experience in approval procedures and cooperation with authorities
- Experience in industrial environments or with brownfield projects is an advantage
- Ability to develop technical solutions under tight deadlines and budget constraints
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented approach
- Very good English skills and ideally good German skills for authority communication and technical documentation
- Experience with BImSchG projects or water protection areas is desirable
